About Me

My name is Kalee Elliott and I am a biologist using ecology and evolution to try and solve climate change.

I currently attend Agnes Scott College, but I will be graduating in December 2020. I am a biology major with an interest in environmental racism, intersection, ecology, evolution and climate change.

On a personal note, I enjoy embroidery, hiking, cooking, baking and gardening. I have over 25 plants in my current apartment. I also really enjoy video games such as Animal Crossing and Dead By Daylight. I have two beautiful cats named Gnocchi and Tiger. Tiger is actually almost as old as I am at nearly 19 years old!

About My Portfolio

The reason that I decided to pursue a degree in Biology is because I am very passionate about environmentalism and ecology specifically. This site is a reflection of that passion. Here I am able to talk about my experiences during my internships and how they have only added to my drive to learn as much as I can about the different animals and plants around different parts of the United States.

As biology majors, we have a great variety of experiences with the greater biology community, and we all have different stories about why we want to pursue this degree and how we ended up where we are now. This is my journey.
